There's something really special about those quiet morning moments on the trail. This piece was inspired by a beautiful red-tailed hawk I met during my hike - she was so content, just sitting in her tree, soaking up the sunshine. I created her world using my own hand-painted papers, old books, adding bright leaves and warm colors to capture that feeling of joy and wonder. She showed up in that same spot a week later, like she was waiting to say hello again!
